The Streaming Giant Chooses Perfect Actor for Bon Clay in One Piece Season 3

The Secret Organization is poised to exert significant influence in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, although the true confrontation won’t take place until the third season, and a cherished, audience-beloved member has now been chosen.

The platform declared recently that the skilled actor will appear in the One Piece season 3 cast and will portray Mr. 2. This character can use their power to change into an identical duplicate of anyone they’ve touched with their dominant hand. The actor, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will portray a rendition of that role reinterpreted as non-binary identifying, instead of as a drag artist, in the live-action series, unlike the initial comic and anime.

The new cast member will work alongside several other recently announced actors tasked with bringing the organization to the screen, such as head the main antagonist, portrayed by the seasoned performer, a talented actress as another operative, and a familiar face, who also joins the ensemble as the ruler of the desert kingdom.

Though the role is a key figure of Baroque Works, the individual won’t make their debut One Piece the upcoming installment. Given season 2 likely to portray the Little Garden storyline, this represents a significant shift in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could indicate further changes to the story’s structure.

Escola’s blend of sharp comedic timing and deep sensitivity makes them a standout choice for the role. Along with their latest vocal work in the animated feature Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and multiple awards for creating and performing in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, highlighting the range they’ll add to one of One Piece’s most celebrated characters.

The platform’s adapted One Piece show is scheduled to come back for its second season on the tenth of March, 2026.
